Applicant and Trust responsibilities
MedRet organises structured six-week clinical placements for international medical graduates. The agreement must set out the responsibilities of the applicant, MedRet and the host Trust before an application can be accepted.
Placement and clearance conditions
Placement conditions, required clearance and the host Trust’s induction arrangements must be confirmed in the written agreement. An eligibility result does not itself confirm a placement.
Payments and refund terms
The MedRet shortlisting fee is £99, charged only after shortlisting. Programme payments are made directly to the Trust. Ask for the current written payment and refund terms before making a payment.
Agreement and legal review
The final agreement must settle the placement conditions, responsibilities, payment arrangements and UK governing-law wording. Approved terms will be published here once the review is complete.
